After the final battle against Sledge, Chase decides to travel back home to New Zealand, but returned later on to fight Snide after the Rangers disband and then reunite. He has a little sister named Chloe who traveled to the United States to perform traditional New Zealand dancing. Prince Phillip saved Chloe from a monster attack and became the Graphite Ranger. When the Rangers went to New Zealand to investigate Albert Smith, Chase showed them around but didn't go visit his family, saying he would see them at Christmas. For Christmas, he was running to late to visit her in New Zealand and got help from Santa to reunite with Chloe and his mom. When Kaylee, the current girl Chase is dating, breaks up with him, he wanted to know why. A monster attacks and he saves her as the Black Ranger with an American accent. She falls for the Black Ranger and he humors her in order to get to know her. He realizes he didn't try to get to know her and she grew bored with him because he seemed to only be into himself. The Black Ranger breaks up with her, not being able to tell her his secret identity. Heckyl targets Kaylee and Chase saves her, later she gives him a second chance.

Poisandra makes Beauticruel who switches bodies with a pretty girl and makes Tyler fall for her. The Rangers come up with the plan to have Chase charm Beauticruel. Chase flirts with her and tells her that he usually likes girls that resemble the real Beauticruel. Kaylee sees this and accuses Chase and runs off. Beauticruel switches her body back. Kaylee witnesses Chase morph and swears to keep it a secret. Later Chase tries making a New Zealand dish called Palvola for a food critic. He fails but loses his energem in her purse. Chase meets with the woman and gets the energem. He saves her. She tells him if you do the same thing expecting different results, you have to mix things up. He uses this in both fighting and baking and successfully bakes a Palvola. Teaming up with Heckyl, the Rangers take down Snide. Chase was the one to communicate with the people of Earth to turn mirrors to reflect energy to destroy the Dark Energem. After getting all the energems together and reversing time to save Earth, the Rangers defeat Sledge who returned. The Rangers say goodbye to Koda, Ivan and Heckyl that return home. Tyler, Shelby, Kendall, Chase, Riley, James and Phillip return to their time where Dinosaurs now co-exist with humans. He still retains a relationship with Kaylee.
