After Amelia's anger is increased by Tombtress's Mood Blast and she blames everything on him, he himself becomes a victim of the Mood Blast, which makes him unreasonably happy. He is cured of this when Tombtress is destroyed. Ollie, along with the other Rangers, would observe his mom luring in Void Knight's crew to sabotage their plans. Nevertheless, it went awry and Zayto had to save her. He managed to escape capture by Void Knight. He would later arrive in Dinohenge and witness Void Knight's scheme of using the Morphin Grid to power his machine. Ollie would then work together with his mom to save the others. However, his actions caused their connection to Morphin Grid to be severed, and thus had his secret identity exposed to his mom. After the team defeated Void Knight, Ollie reunites with his mom. He and the other Rangers would later have their powers and connection to the Grid restored by the Green Morphin Master, before morphing with the team to deal with a Sporix Beast.

Sometime later, Ollie would meet with Drake Floyd, who used to be his professor at school. When Floyd complimented Amelia's bracelet, Ollie dismissed it as nonsense, embarrassing Amelia in the process in front of the professor. He would then be told by Floyd that his classmates would not appreciate him during school days due to his wiseacre attitude. Ollie would just chalk it up to his classmates being jealous of his intellect. When trying to develop an antidote for the venom of a Sporix, Ollie dismissed Amelia's warning about the boiling pool water. This caused Solon to become a tree and Ollie realized that what Floyd said was true. Later, when Amelia suggested using her bracelet to lower the iron content, Ollie decided to swallow his pride and used it. Ollie later apologized to Floyd for his attitude when he was a student, and how he intends to listen to others with a more open mind. He gave Amelia a heartfelt apology for all the times he belittled her beliefs in the supernatural.

Over time, Ollie and Amelia begin to grow closer, appearing to have developed romantic feelings for each other. On Valentine's day, Ollie arrives at BuzzBlast with a Valentine's card and a bouquet of daisies for someone. He starts to panic when he hears Izzy say it's a bad idea to date a coworker after seeing how Annie rejected Stan's offer to be his Valentine. He is then approached by Izzy and Fern, who urges him to tell them who his lucky Valentine is. Ollie claims they are for a girl named Stella who works at the Novarr cafe, unaware that Amelia is standing behind him. Fern says hello to Amelia, making Ollie realize this. Amelia coldly points out that daisies are weeds, to which he says he thinks they are beautiful. After Amelia makes a comment about him picking flowers from someone's yard, Ollie storms out, tossing both the flowers and the card in the trash. He tells Izzy the latter and decides to text Amelia to talk. Before he can, Sizzurai makes Ollie evil, and he fights his own teammates until Javi knocks him out with the Snooze Key. Back at Dinohenge, Solon neutralizes the poison, and Amelia confesses her feelings for him, which revives him. Their kiss is interrupted by the other Rangers. Ollie then reveals that he provided Zedd with the hard drive that reveals Rafkon's current location. Following this, Ollie and Amelia become a couple. Later, Ollie goes to Japan to help his mother with a project but takes her for granted in favor of spending time with Amelia. He has to save her from Sugarhit.
